Installation of the Coevera Chrome Extension
Run Google Chrome Web Browser and install Google Chrome Web Extension to your Browser by following next steps.
Click “Add to Chrome” ⤵
Click “Add Extensions” to add Coevera Application to your Google Chrome Extensions ⤵
Coevera application icon should now be available within the extension menu on the top-right part of the Google Chrome ⤵
Now, you need to sign in to your Coevera Account. Just click the extension icon and use the same credentials you use to login to your Coevera account when filling in your email address and password.
Once completed, click “Sign In” to submit your information ⤵
Select the Space you would to use with Coevera from the list.
NOTE: List may not appear if you only have access to a single space.
NOTE: After successful activation of the Coevera Web Clipper within Google Chrome, you will need to restart the browser to fully reload all your page content. Close out of your Google Chrome browser completely and reopen it.
How does it work?
CLIP WEB PAGES — When you find a web page that is relevant to your business, you can "clip" it into Coevera as a lead, account or even a task for you to check out later
HIGHLIGHT WEB PAGE CONTENT — When you browse a web page, and part of the page content is relevant to your business, just highlight it with a mouse and click Coevera Web Clipper to save that information in Coevera as a lead, account, contact or even a task for you to check out later.
Example: Save a contact from LinkedIn as a contact in CoeveraPREVIEW CLIPPED RECORDS — When clipping a new record into Coevera, Coevera Web Clipper now shows you a preview screen, where you can easily review clipping data and even add more useful data to the clipped account or contact.
SMART CLIPPING — When you browse a particular web page (LinkedIn, for example), Coevera Web Clipper is able to recognize it, and will clip even more publicly available information for you, such as a contact’s position, email address or even a phone number.
In this example, we will clipping contact information from LinkedIn using the Coevera Web Clipper and bring it into Coevera. To begin, open Google Chrome and go to LinkedIn.
Open a contact on LinkedIn ⤵
Click on the the Coevera Extension ⤵
Select the record/item you would like to create. In our case, click on the “Contact” ⤵
Coevera Web Clipper will preview the data that you can clip to the Coevera Address Book. Review the data and change it if needed ⤵
Search the client in Coevera to verify it has come over and is working properly.
NOTE: This may take a few minutes ⤵
If the Web Clipper finds a duplicate record already in Coevera, it will notify you. Search for the Contact in Coevera to check whether it is a duplicate before continuing ⤵
How do I know which version of the web clipper I am using?
Click on the contact icon in the top right and then select "About". As of May 2024, the latest version is 2.0.0
