Automatic data profiling enriches data for:

Contacts – when you enter an email address for contact.
Accounts – when you enter a website URL for an account.

The Auto Profiling integration will only return data when there is a high probability of an exact match and will not overwrite any data already entered i.e. will only add information to empty fields.

Auto profiling will add data to the following fields

Contacts

Avatar – Contact’s Photo
Address – City, Country, ZIP Code, State/Province, Street Address
Title
Social Media Profiles such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and more.

Accounts

Avatar – Account’s Company Logo
Address – City, Country, ZIP Code, State/Province, Street Address
Social Media Profiles such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and more.

Notes

For Contacts — the integration can only populate Pipeliner with publicly available information that is related to the email address that you have entered on the record - if an individual’s social profiles are associated with a different, or personal, email address, they cannot be added.

It’s possible that Contact avatars may be added by the auto profiling that you would prefer not to have displayed in CRM — for example, if someone has an open Facebook profile with personal pictures on it! If this happens, in order to prevent the picture being reattached, keep a blank white image file (png, gif or jpg) to hand and, instead of removing the picture (thus prompting the auto profiling to add it back in), replace the existing file with the blank one.

For Accounts — please enter the website in the following format www.domain.com — don’t include any / symbols for subpages or “http://” or “https://” as these will prevent the integration from working properly.
