  • Lead

  • Opportunity

A Contact in Pipeliner is the name of the person you are communicating with. Contacts can be people referring business to you, outside consultants or contractors, as well as the people you are speaking with at the company you are trying to obtain business with or already have business with. All the information that you are collecting in Pipeliner about that Contact is help in that Contact’s record

Once Account and Contact records are added to Pipeliner, they can be utilized over and over and do not need to be added again. Therefore, when you have a new potential opportunity with the same company you have done business with or attempted to do business with in the past, all you need to do is link the new opportunity with the account record that is already in Pipeliner.
