Pipelines hold the steps/stages of your sales process (or any process). Pipelines can be used for the pre-sales process, sales process, post-sales process, implementation process, fulfillment process, customer services process, new hire process and so much more. 

Pipeliner provides a default Pipeline to get you started. This pipeline can be modified or added to.

Enter the Admin Module — from the Pipeliner CRM Application, click on the App Switcher in the top left corner:

NOTE: Only Administrators will see the Administration menu

Select the "Pipelines Menu", and the Pipeline you want to work with.

How to Change the Name of a Pipeline

Type over the name that exits currently. Click "Save".
Modify the color that represents that Pipeline.
Check the desired color. Click "Save".

How to Add a new step to a Pipeline

Click the "Add Sales Steps" button. Type in the Name of the Step. Type in the percentage that would represent the probability of closure, or Weighting, for that stage of the process. Click "Add".

You can change the order of your steps by dragging and dropping.

How to Modify a step in a Pipeline

You can modify the Pipeline’s steps in detail including:

  • Change the name of the step
  • Select a Probability of Closure percentage

Click the "Pencil" icon to the right of the step you wish to modify:

The "Edit Sales Step" dialog box appears.
Change the name of the step.
Type in what should appear. Click "Modify":

Change the Probability of closure for this step.
Type in what should appear. Or use the arrows to make a selection. Click "Modify".

How to add velocity to a Pipeline step

Velocity represents the number of days you might expect any opportunity to take in this step of the process before moving to the next step.  Turn Velocity on if it is not on already.

Click the red box with the “X” in it next to Velocity to turn it "ON":

Now you will have a green box with a check mark.
Fill in the number of days.
Click "Modify":

How to add a document to a sales step

Scroll down the "Edit Sales Step" dialog box until the Sales Step Documents section is in view.

Click the ”Click here to upload link”. Click on "Upload" a document. Select the document you wish to be available for the team when they get to that step in the Pipeline.

EXAMPLE: A sample email, a brochure, a document template such as a contract. Click "Open". Select "Attach" document (if there is more than one document, Select with a click and Ctrl click to make multiple selections).

Click Modify and than Click "Save".

Now your users will be able to have this document available every time they are in Pipeliner:

NOTE: Custom User Roles is only available in Enterprise Tier. Unlimited number of Pipelines, Custom Fields per Pipeline Stage (Sales Actions) and Custom Activities based on the Pipeline Stage (step) Sales Activities are available in the Business and Enterprise Tiers.
