Use the power of our Voyager AI to summarise the content of documents or use "Ask Document" to get answers to questions about selected files

Overview

The 5.11 release brings the power of our Voyager AI to documents stored in Pipeliner. Users can now summarise the content of selected documents or, for example, ask the Document AI to sum the total of several selected invoices.

The AI Tools for Documents button is available from:

  • Record Detail - Documents Tab

  • Document Manager

  • Documents Drill-downs

  • Email Detail - AI menu - Document summary only

Document(s) Summary

  • This option creates a summary of the selected document(s)

  • The AI-created summary is stored in the Pipeliner database which reduces the amount of requests

  • Users can select any number of documents, all will be processed one by one within a single window

  • The provided summary or summaries can be saved as a PDF, Task, Appointment, Note, or sent as an email

There are some limitations:

  • The Summarise feature works on files types pdf | csv | doc | docx | xls | xlsx | html | txt | md

  • There is a maximum size of 4.5 MB per document file

  • 3.75MB per image (max resolution: 8000px x 8000px)

Ask Documents(s)

  • Select the documents you want to know more about and then Ask the AI what what you want to know

  • The Chat uses history, so the answers are contextual-based

  • Users can clear the Chat anytime to reset the context

  • Users can use also Speech-to-Text to avoid typing

Limitations are displayed if you exceed them ⤵

NOTE: the AI decides if the file is processable, so it could happen that the output of the AI will be an error.

Activating the Voyager AI Assistant in the Automation Hub

One of your Pipeliner Admins will need to activate the Voyager AI Assistant in the Automation Hub and agree to the OpenAI Terms & Conditions prior to it being available to use within the app.

Access the Admin Module using the App Switcher icon in the top left corner of Pipeliner and select “Administration” and then navigate to the "Automation Hub" menu⤵

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to find “Voyager AI Assistant” and then click on “Add for Free” ⤵

Enable all the options you want to use and then scroll down to tick the box to agree to the OpenAI Terms & Policies and then click on “Save” ⤵

The Voyager AI Assistant will then show as Running and you can click on the Configure button at any time to select new options or change existing ones ⤵

What AI Models do you use?

The Voyager AI uses multiple Amazon AI services (Amazon Bedrock with AI model: Haiku) to provide an analysis of the document(s).

  • Runs on: AWS Bedrock

  • Model: Haiku

  • Methodology: Prompt engineering

Is my customer data at risk? / Where is our data sent for processing? / How do we know our data is secure?

These Voyager AI features use only Amazon AI services. The entire Pipeliner environment and the new AI features both run within the same geolocated AWS environment. Amazon AI processed data will NEVER leave this environment or geolocation. Any of your data processed by Amazon AI is not stored and used to train models in Amazon.

How do I get the Voyager AI Assistant?

One of your Pipeliner Admins will need to activate the Voyager AI Assistant in the Automation Hub and agree to the OpenAI Terms & Conditions prior to it being available to use within the app.
