Working with Static Profiles

Build static lists of records to facilitate follow up communications and tracking

Updated over a month ago

Overview

Static Profiles allows users to create a custom list of records which then remains static unless changed by the user. This is ideal for invitations and follow ups where you need to contact the same people on an ongoing basis and where a list based on a dynamic filter might have changed.

Creating or Updating a Static Profile

Static profiles are created from the main menu - users can:

  • Add to New - add selected record(s) to a new static profile (or create a new empty static profile)

  • Add to Existing - add selected record(s) to an existing static profile

  • Remove from Existing - remove selected record(s) to an existing static profile

How to view Static Profiles

Static profiles are visible in the profile dropdown along with dynamic profiles ⤵

How do Static Profiles behave?

Static profiles only support the List View and contain only the View, Role and Filter tabs. The Role and Filter tab cannot be modified after the profile is created. Static profiles are not tied to processes.

The Static Profiles Widget

From an open record Detail screen, the right hand panel will show a new widget “Static Profiles” will be available in record details for compatible entities. This widget shows the number of profiles that the selected record is part of and also allows the user to add/remove selected record to/from multiple profiles or to add the selected record to a new profile. Static profiles are shared so, if a user has access to an individual record, they will be able to add/remove that record from a Static Profile.
