Overview
Voyager AI Media Transcription now brings the ease and efficiency of working with our Call Recording feature to all Activities. Users can, for example, upload a recording of a meeting to an Appointment in Pipeliner by adding the URL of the recorded meeting or by uploading an MP4 file. The Media Transcription will then process the video/audio and will create a transcription and summarization which the user can then copy to a field (e.g. Appointment Description) as required.
NOTE: this feature requires the purchase of credits which is managed from the Communication tab within the Customer Portal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the whole file uploaded to the Pipeliner server?
No, the selected files are not usually fully uploaded to our servers - as a first step we’re trying to extract the audio part from the movie in a stream in order to save both processing time and credits needed. If this first step fails we upload the whole file.
What third party services do you use?
To create the transcription and AI summary we’re using Twilio's Voice Intelligence feature - the same as that used for Call Transcription
Do we need to pay for the Media Transcription Add-on?
This Add-on itself is free to enable for all Pipeliner Tiers but but users need credit to use it. Credits are added by your subscription admins in the Customer Portal>Communication tab.
What is the cost of transcribing files?
The approximate cost is $0.104 per minute of transcription.
