Installation of the Pipeliner CRM Chrome Extension
Run Google Chrome Web Browser and install Google Chrome Web Extension to your Browser by following next steps.
Click “Add to Chrome” ⤵
Click “Add Extensions” to add Pipeliner CRM Application to your Google Chrome Extensions ⤵
Pipeliner CRM application icon should now be available within the extension menu on the top-right part of the Google Chrome ⤵
Now, you need to sign in to your Pipeliner CRM Account. Just click the extension icon and use the same credentials you use to login to your Pipeliner CRM account when filling in your email address and password.
Once completed, click “Sign In” to submit your information ⤵
Select the Space you would to use with Pipeliner from the list.
NOTE: List may not appear if you only have access to a single space.
NOTE: After successful activation of the Pipeliner CRM Web Clipper within Google Chrome, you will need to restart the browser to fully reload all your page content. Close out of your Google Chrome browser completely and reopen it.
How does it work?
- CLIP WEB PAGES — When you find a web page that is relevant to your business, you can "clip" it into Pipeliner as a lead, account or even a task for you to check out later
- HIGHLIGHT WEB PAGE CONTENT — When you browse a web page, and part of the page content is relevant to your business, just highlight it with a mouse and click Pipeliner CRM Web Clipper to save that information in Pipeliner as a lead, account, contact or even a task for you to check out later.
Example: Save a contact from LinkedIn as a contact in Pipeliner CRM
- PREVIEW CLIPPED RECORDS — When clipping a new record into Pipeliner, Pipeliner CRM Web Clipper now shows you a preview screen, where you can easily review clipping data and even add more useful data to the clipped account or contact.
- SMART CLIPPING — When you browse a particular web page (LinkedIn, for example), Pipeliner CRM Web Clipper is able to recognize it, and will clip even more publicly available information for you, such as a contact’s position, email address or even a phone number.
In this example, we will clipping contact information from LinkedIn using the Pipeliner Web Clipper and bring it into Pipeliner. To begin, open Google Chrome and go to LinkedIn.
Open a contact on LinkedIn ⤵
Click on the the Pipeliner CRM Extension ⤵
Select the record/item you would like to create. In our case, click on the “Contact” ⤵
Pipeliner CRM Web Clipper will preview the data that you can clip to the Pipeliner CRM Address Book. Review the data and change it if needed ⤵
Search the client in Pipeliner to verify it has come over and is working properly.
